It's a big couple of weeks for many of the Trekers out there... Last weekend we had 4 folks join the very exclusive ranks of Ironman Finishers as well as a BQ qualifying marathoner!!! Way to go!!! And this weekend a whole host of folks will be dropping some serious mileage in our little virtual race. We have runners that will be dominating marathons in Chicago and Albany and a couple of ultra-marathoners lacing 'em up as well. (Sorry if I missed anyone's race.) Good luck to all!!!

Aww yeah! Boston's 'B-squad' is locked and loaded. With all six of us training for early October marathons, I anticipate that we'll be the first to Rochester! Where we will set up camp and watch the rest of y'all pass us for the rest of the month. Good luck to all!

The Rise NYC and TMIRCE over are hosting a virtual race around New York!
Teams of up to 6 people will work together to run around the state over the span of 8 weeks! (Each runner is responsible for 30 miles per week on average).
Run anywhere you want. Then log miles and see yourself move on our map and leaderboards. Catch a Google street view of your virtual locale, then cheer your real fellow racers!
To keep everyone on the same page, we've come up with some handy guidelines:
-- We rely on the honor system... you don't have to use a device to prove your miles -- a good map suffices.
-- Only running or walking miles please! (NOTE: miles on a racer's personal log are for all races they are in, over all sports)
-- Please attribute your mileage to the appropriate day -- don't combine mileage from multiple days.
-- Please only backdate mileage for a race up to two weeks in the past.
-- Only mileage added before the race officially closes on October 31st at 23:59:59 EST will count in the race leaderboards.
